The Life Time Tri Minneapolis bike course is unique in that it is one of the only bike courses that has roads 100% closed to cars. This provides extra safety for participants along with plenty of space for passing and now, nice, smooth roads for our riders!
Relay transition area
A designated relay area will be available at the northwest end of the transition area. Relay teams will use this area for both transitions. Swimmers will meet their biker in the pen. Biker will run to their designated bike rack and exit. Upon return, biker will rack their bike and meet their runner in the relay pen. Runner will exit to complete the race.
The run course will have water at each aid station.
*PLEASE NOTE: The bike course will no longer have an aid station. Please prepare and bring 2 bottles for race day. We will have water and Gatorade for bottle fill in Transition in the morning.
Aid Stations will provide water and isotonic drinks approximately every mile.
